When are they going to release their ******* rotrex kits?
They have advertised them for over a year now, and still no release date. And their titanium headers, and all that jazz.
I got an email a while back from them that said they will release them Late summer. Well its ******* late summer wheres your kits?
Anyways done ranting, I don't even like superchargers, I just wanted to see what the rotrex would do.

When I was looking into FI, their new setup had me really interested...however I got impatient, as it seemed as though it was taking forever to get release, so I opted for the Greddy. I am still very interested in seeing how they will work for the Miata though, whenever they do get released.

same situation here, I got a BEGI Stage 1/2/3 Hybrid With the BEGI fuel system. (Intercooler 1, Begi Fuel System, Cold air Box and Radiator Cover, GT2560R) I'm sure the 2560 will get full boost before the rotrex does.

If this article is right, it makes less of a performance gain than a Greddy kit, and triple the cost. http://pi-motorsports.com/html/ftprod.html
On the Honda fit engine, it only made a 30HP FWHP increase. For $3495 for 5 PSI, I would expect a bit more. THe 10PSI kit runs $4995, and no numbers have been released yet.
SC people get ready for a dissapointment when its released.

so what if someone who had real engine management hooked up a kit and put a 12psi pulley on it? Does it blow hot air or stay nice and cool at those levels? That seems like whats important for this technology to work
I thought the rationale behind centrifugals was to use a belt to drive an oversized compressor and enjoy the cooler air charge.. since spool isn't supposed to be an issue you can get away with T4-size compressors with centrifugals it seems (I haven't done any serious research, just speculating). So why does the Rotrex use such a small compressor?

I don't know why either. I know some of the larger rotrex's use larger compressors, it might be using a smaller sized one to compensate for the "Transmission" inside of the assembly. Thats also speculation.
i gotta bump this cuz...
saw the s2ki prototype 2 wks ago, being demo'd by Oscar Sr. himself.. and the dyno chart was really impressive:

price... from listening to the "whisperers".. $7k for complete kit including IC, etc.
