Just back from BEGI and SATX: What an opp to meet the legend himself
Drove up with Bryce and his GF, but I borrowed an older buick to follow him as my miata stayed home.
As soon as we got to BEGI we met corky, unfortunately he had a meeting as we arrived and we did not get a chance to talk to him much. Also his great hospitality preceded him as he let us roam around "You can look around all you want." (i would have loved to have tried on of his famed 'ritas). Also saw marks Chinacharger car sitting in the shop, and even got to nose around the rear mount NC.
Also didnt get a chance to pick up a BEGI shirt as they were closed by the time we made it back.
Here is what I have
Me Looking at BEGI's door.

I need to make the hajj to that place myself. There may be a Harris Hill miata track party in July, so I'll go then because my car will be running and crushing the hopes and dreams of exotics by then.

(those were actually bryces shoes. I'm only in the reflection photo, the rest have bryce in them. I was wearing brooks running shoes.)
Ahh... Here's where I post this stuff... That aint no older Buick, that's a couch on wheels!
I love my exhaust now, excellent work by Begi and Jason from Enthuza.
At Begi, I felt like a fat kid that got dropped off in cake land.
Pumas, I love them. I'm wearing some blue and yellow replicats right now.
That little oil pan looking thing was actually an oil cooler, pretty sweet.

There we go. It was some kiddie ride where you sit in cut open giant pool *****, it wasn't gay though, because the ***** weren't touching.
I guess I could end with this. After we got back I went to a art festival/rave where I got my dance on and consumed whatever energy I had left. Here's a falling man made from a '53 Chevy Nova.

Lesson of the day from Fiesta Texas while waiting in line with some people:
You can take the people out of the ghetto, but you cant take the ghetto out of the people.

You didn't see my black 94 with a hard top sitting around did you? It's getting the S4 system installed and is just about ready to dyno. Would have had stock hollow spokes and snows on it. (sent it down in Feb. Thought I'd be driving it back through the rockies in April)
Yeah I saw your 94, the hood wasn't popped so I wasn't particularly attracted to it.
We made a few jokes about the plates, Oregon trail. Then remembered Hustler being separated at the waist.

Good to know it still exists! My wife thinks they must have sold it.
Hopefully they'll be finished this week. Will look a little different with the 15x8 nickel 6ul's and 225 RS2's instead of my winter wheels & tires. Here's what it looked like under the hood. Dirty, disorganized and nothing deleted or removed - PS, PB, AC, Cruise. I'll be adding Sav's COP's and cleaning it up when I get it back.
