Default Just spanked a Del sol with a NA Miata.

My cousin has been talking trash about how his Del sol is going to roast my 92 Miata. My car was owned by a RX-7 mechanic. It has exhaust, K&N airfilter, racing beat springs and swaybars, valve cover with cam gears exposed. I don't know what he did to it. But it is quick.

Anyways, we lined up and I just dumped the clutch at like redline. I jumped out and then he passed me by a 1/2 of a car length. I held my ground through second, and when we hit third I just left him.

So, you're either saying Del Sol, or Diesel. Either way good job.

I doubt its a diesel. Plus most diesel trucks would a kill a miata.

yeah, a del sol with a swap can be very fast, they are very light like our cars too.

What I dont get is why honda made a cool little 2 seater and then made it FWD...

DelSols weigh in ~2300-2400lb.

I've seen a few H22 DelSols with the engine swapped into the car....in the back.

Yea, he is planing on turboing it too. He said he wants 8psi.
I'm going to have to get Brain's MS and boost 12psi. LOL
He has the single cam motor. But it has a lightened flywheel, header, exhaust, and greddy injectors.
I bet when he got home he was on ebay within 30 sec . Lol

Hondata is some good quality stuff for sure. I think I want one of their intake manifold gaskets for that extra 5% or close to cooler air.

I'm sure the turbo I have in the garage will make it sing a new tune though.
