Are you planning on living aboard? I'm not sure if I did the conversion correctly, but it seems like a decent deal. It's not uncommon to find boats in that class and condition for ~$12000 on the west coast. Sometimes significantly less. |
I'm not much of a sailboat type, but I live among them - there's a shocking amount of sailing money at mooring in our harbor. The local boat market is VERY depressed lately, but I think a boat like that would easily bring more than the seller is asking. From the pictures, it has been very well kept - updating textiles is the only obvious thing you might want to do.
It's a good-looking boat. If the reality matches the photos, I would do it. |
