laphroaig owns me.
in chicago at a hotel with a reasonably decent bar.
there is some jazz woman here. they say she's popular. i say she covers celine dion and bolton and therefore is barely drunken mediocrity.

but the scotch was the smoky, peaty wallop that is laphoaig.
see when I first was introduced to scotch by a former boss, he told me to try something easy and indicated that laphroaig was a little more advanced. well since I had some time and the bar had some laph 10, I figured wtf, i'll get a couple fingers neat.
well it's no macallan. it's more like scotch that's been in a wildfire. tasty in its own right but after a glass I feel like I've had a cigar. strange.
splitime should have prevented this but did not.

Make sure to stop by the Laborghini dealer... they always have interesting stuff over there. Last time my GF was up there, they had a Veyron just chillin' in the window.
