Someone predicted in another cr.net thread (think it was yours) the other day that race prep will be the next rice. Imagine a bunch of cars that look track ready...but really aren't. That's the only saving grace of rice...it actually LOOKS slow to the educated. Imagine hardly being able to tell the difference between the guy that will rape you at TWS and the wannabe with staggered fitment 6ULs.

This is true.

More buyers to strengthen the performance parts market.

Imagine if we had the wheels choices in 12lb 15x8s with decent offsets that the ricer crowd has in their 18lb 0 offset 16in bullshit...

One thing I'll bet on...when he changes his mind he won't be able to part with those wheels as a set. I see a cheap pair of 15x8 6ULs and a cheap pair of 15x9 6ULs in two lucky classified lurkers' future.

Way I look at it is when all of these wreck their cars with these parts on them, we get the second-hand parts cheaper.

Doesn't need to be predicted. It has always been that way.

Yeah, it's already like that. Look at any magazine coverage of a car show and you'll see car after car with full race or track parts on it. Look at any car featured in a magazine and you'll see it covered end to end in race parts. But they never get driven. Full show cars.

Wow, incredibly sad. They're breaking new boundaries with this ****. I'm impressed/disgusted.
