Thumbs down Lighting FAIL

So yesterday, my dad and I decided to completely tear threw the hangar and get rid of all the **** that we don't need. Washing the walls and the floors, sweeping and organizing, etc..

Any way, about 7 hours later, the **** looks great! We washed all the cars and I gave the 97 Viper a nice coat of hard wax, my truck is completely mexican packed with all the **** we are throwing away, all the tools and equipment are nicely stowed away in their proper places. Everything went very, very well.

Until....my dad walks in my room and says, "Hey check out what I did."

I walk out into the hangar and he tells me he fixed all the lights....except one.

I look at the fixture over the miata and see a bulb missing. I look down and I see a smashed flourescent light in my engine bay

It was an accident but, a very time consuming clean up. I went over the entire car and engine bay with a shop vac and i'm sure I got most of it out. The biggest problem was that I was in the middle of changing the oil restrictor and pan fitting, so the turbo, wastagate and all the other **** was half way off and the glass got everywhere!!!

Please share your favorite FAIL stories.

I think it is hangar as in airplane storage that the op is referring to. But threw vs. through was annoying when I first read it. Stay in skewl. Stay awake in skewl.

You know... after looking it up, I can't find a "correct" way to spell it... half the time "e" is used, the other half "a" is used. Oh **** it....that's what I get for having 6 TVs radiating my brain for 8 hours a day :( (Does that count as my fail story of the day?)

I installed the intake manifold gasket backwards... pissed coolant out all over the floor with ICANTDRIVE55 and one of his boys watching the first time I met them... really cemented my rep.

Got kinda lucky. 30psi spike on a stock 2.3L ford Lima..

Most of the compression piston ring were missing. Theres a few pieces of it that were stuck in the CAST IRON CYLINDER HEAD, and a few can be seen in the face of the piston...

Cracked the piston from face to skirt completely through!! More fail soon to come when I get a turbo on the miata... haha
