Yup...the place I love to make fun of so much (thanks clubroadster)....the place where modifying a car is evil sin and CARB is more annoying than that hooker from Alaska. The GF and I will be there labor day weekend to see NIN and visit Cars & Coffee and maybe some other ****. What else is there to do? Can I throw and messicans in the tar pits? Anyone i nthe area want to get together one night? Were thinking about renting a NC and hitting up some of the nice roads.....maybe some of you guys can help with this

I really want to steal one of those signs that wors motorists of women dragging children across the road and ship it back to my house to I can hang it up in my garage (ot at least put a small sign under one that says (+100 bonus driving points)

BTW - Cali is fun when you're surrounded by slack-jawed mouth-breathers honking their horns in the tunnel on your way home from work and respond with a series of "gunshots" from the spark cut..

 

If you rent a NC I can show you some good roads , Santa Monica is 20 mins from me, and on Sunday mornings there are some great meets/drives, although none of them are too quick because of the millions of bikers on the road.

 

x2 on Monterey, There are much better roads up this way

We joked about going to 'Vegas while on our trip to the FM Summer Camp....but decided it added a little more driving than I want to do. I'm sure as our trip comes up we'll be planning a bit more.... right now it's a "hey, we're going out there and need to get some ideas" stage. Would I get shot if I get my picture taken in Inglewood/Compton throwing up a few gang signs
