Lol (Hyper, CR, ayfkm?)
|
<3 Hyper.
 |
I have so much to say but I can't stop laughing long enough to say it
|
Fits all year miatas.
|
If I charged $20 and hour and cut it out by hand it wouldn't come to 100 bucks.
|
The thread has been "cleaned up".
Booo for no funny |
I'm not seeing any pictures in his posts.
|
miata-racer is a complete tool.
|
price dropped to $100??
and not powder coated or polished? and not even deburred? large holes questionably round? I almost want to make a set just like that and post them for sale for $90. |
I cant see any pictures but I can only imagine.
Its amazing to me that he just wont quit. |
You should, Y8s.
But make them out of cardboard and wood glue. I would except that my accounts are banned on sight from CR.net from trolling Hyper too much now. |
Why coolant run next to hot turbo?
|
Because Hyper.
|
I received an infraction for trolling lol
|
Since his description is crap and there are no photos I'm guessing he made a coolant re-route to go on the exhaust side and go along the valve cover? If so he's an idiot. Lets put rubber coolant lines next to my glowing hot turbo. I don't even have to "touch the iron while it's on" to know that's a bad idea.
|
Oh jesus what the ---- is this bull ----
lol dis niga srs? |
I seriously hate miata-racer.
|
^That's exactly what they are... just brackets that bolt to the valve cover bolts and have a large hole in them that you route your coolant hose through.
I'm not a machinist, but I'd say about $2 in materials and 30 seconds on a waterjet... so yeah, $100 makes perfect sense. |
Pics show for me. can't ss on phone but its so stupid. brackets bolted to the vc that hold the tube probably 1 inch above the manifold. it has some metal cover for the tube but really?
|
Would be funny if someone quoted his last post and said " i still don't get it...."
|
Thread was GLORIOUS before that dipshit miata-racer cleaned it up.
Stupid cunt |

I hope he blows a gasket. Literally and figuratively. |

On a side note can we get them painted in supasikultrahawtwinnangbbqheadermaniturbinespraypa int1200degreewinning.com ? Or would custom painting be extra fee as well? |

WTF is wrong with everyone not seeing the pictures, they all work fine, even Viper's.
The biggest question I have is what the ---- is wrong with these: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1334829698 |

The biggest question I have is what the ---- is wrong with these: The answer to your question is that they dont cost 100 bucks...Its all about bragging rights brah. :giggle: |
Are you guys logged into cr.net? I'm not, and I bet Viper is. The images are a post attachment on cr.net, and are probably only viewable by those who are currently logged into cr.net.
|
Nope i'm logged nothing.

Hey guys look at the new "refined" hyper coolant reroute.
So he is routing the back using a kia water neck.. then going back to the front over the HOT turbo with a with this fancy pipe (that will most likely get hotter than the coolant inside) via a new water neck, and then to the radiator. And on top of it, hes rerouting cold coolant from the back of the block back to the water pump. The front exit of the engine is plugged so that neck is only sitting there for show. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...8&d=1334834884 http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/picture.jpg |
I'm very confused ... where does the radiator come into play?
|
You see the open hole at the top? That goes to the radiator.
|
I missed the fun, I like watching Hyper get trolled, but now I can't see it.
|
why don't we just run the coolant through the exhust manifold before it goes into the engine.

Stupid cunt I've never seen a mod on any forum do that to a FS thread, it's not like my thread was unreasonable anyways. |

Here you go gheys.
HOLY GRAIL BRACKETS YOURS FOR ONLY $100. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1334844736 LEGIT. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1334844736 He designed it like this so the coolant hose cools the turbo via diffusion. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1334844736 |
Did anyone happen to save the original thread before it got nerfed by miata-racer?
|
The thread wasn't nearly as funny as the photos and his description in the original post, to be honest.
It was amusing just because butthurt, but nothing special. |
Also he told be it doesn't get hot over there and I am a dumbass.

Ok, can everyone view the photos posted by concealer? I was going to save them and upload them here, but I think that's what he did. No idea, cause I can actually see the originals.
Here's his reroute: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1334859991 |
Yeah i saved and re-upped elsewhere. :)
|
So, Hyper's goal with his reroute is to....raise his coolant temp?
 |
All of this I do not get. Now I know why you guys hate him.
|
We do not hate. We laugh at.
|
Even his pictures are linked as "spam" eh? :D
(Spam blocker...) |
i can't believe he's trying to sell two brackets for 100 bucks. i don't really get that ----.
i don't even give a ---- about the "logistics" behind the reroute. |
Okay Ive never personally owned a turbo car or even a miata and I have some comments.
Im used to the overpriced ---- in the Fbody crowd. Some guys makes a splitter for our cars (completely for aesthetics as it doesnt even sit parallel to the ground, but front up instead) Its a piece of ABS plastic that is 350 dollars. I wanted one, so I looked into it. I can get the ABS for 2 for 75 shipped, and I called about water jetting it, and the guy said if I supply the file and the materials Im looking at 50 a sheet. so Im at like 120 for one. But those brackets are seriously overpriced, Ive got a friend with a machine shop, and he probably make the design and cut them for like 30 bucks. I dont know the flow cycle of the miata cooling system, and am too lazy to look it up, but Id worry with the thermostat closed and essentially no coolant movement in the block that in that spot the coolant would get hot as hell. And I was under the impression that the reroute was to reduce a hot spot on cylinder 4, but with this the coolant hitting 4 is still going to be hot as hell, seems redudant. Isnt there a bunch of turbo manifold (any top mounts) that this wont fit. Why not develop something to route it under the intake manifold, if there is room (I dont know), it would be on the cold side (where the smart money is) and if you kept it hidden the guys doing the tucked/clean look underhood would like it to. Those brackets looks way to big and overly complicated for holding a coolant hose. Seems like more of a visual mod, and its still ugly so its a fail/fail in my book. |
