Hey guys first post on my forum and also my first Miata (so I am major noob and get bamboozled easily), anyway I live in Australia and recently found out that the only NBs that got LSDs were the 10AE and the SE which is majorly disappointing to me. I think in the US all NB8Bs got the LSD ? I myself have an 8B and the first mod I am looking to do to it is the LSD. After doing some research there is like no one in Australia who is selling these so I decided to go onto ebay and I found a few US sellers. The only thing is most of these guys are not selling it with the housing, just the gears. So for the install process do I essentially just remove the old gears from the housing and throw the LSD into the housing ? Or is there any additional steps ?
