M.net GORD rant
WTF Ok so M.net has alot of wine and cheesers and closed minded people fine but please guys dont Bring it here we all get along fairly well, here.
Jayc WTF Sam does some good detailed writeups that explaine valid points to new commers of all sorts. Are you gonna say Braineack or i are a waste of Bandwith to or Pherhaps olderguy or Phillip. We are all here trying to learn While i would not personally go with a junk yard turbo on my miata. that does not make it wrong or stupid to do it. I have horrible luck with junk yards around here and distrust ebay so i bought new **** + i figured i could use it as an example for a DIY with no welding or extra tools and Viola it worked how bout that. Jayc Grow up man. Gord has pissed me off to but still. The guy is entitled to vent, he would do it on M.net but then nobody would ge tto read it as it would get deleted. Sam i feel for ya but hey its just the internet. Now everybody please just take a step back and chill. KTB

Do you not see the parallel between cutting stock springs and using a junkyard frankenturbo? I personally not go with cut stock springs on my miata, that does not make it wrong or stupid to do it.

Was I a little harsh in my response to Sam accusing people of wasting bandwidth? Yes. Despite that I had a valid point. Sam's a big boy let him confront me if that's what he wants to do. I really don't think he needs you or anyone to come to his defense.

I am a big boy... 6'4" and 250lbs... but I do have my limitations (I'm kinda sensitive about my thighs). And I'm a little out of my depth when it comes to suspension so I should stay out of the discussions, but I'm just as opinionated as anybody on here so I probably won't.
Jay and I have made up via PM. We still don't see 100% eye to eye, but we can get over it. I won't be shortening my posts any and he won't stop calling me out when I'm wrong... so everything will work out in the end.
As for the anti m.net comments... that's what makes us special. We're the radical bastard offshoot of an otherwise fine group of hobbyists... like the militant wing of the Salvation Army. We keeps it real over here!

It's kinda fun to see how a thread will develop and evolve (or devolve depending on how you look at it). Granted the loose form of moderating here adds more BS to the mix, it also makes for some really entertaining threads at times.

Well its a forum thats moderated llke a conversation, yeah it gets off topic, and it can get a little fun, but just like a conversation in real life people step in and cool everyone down.
