Default Mikef85 Videos? Stroked turbo miata

Hey do you guys remember a guy that posted by mikef85. He had a turbo stroker that I think Ric built. Well surfing the net I found these videos. Bryce you met him is this him? One video is named "mikes miata".

I've kept in touch with Mike. He sold all his turbo stuff here and at m.net and moved on to a turboed 305 engine. Last time I checked with him he was still building this new setup.

He wants to get some crazy whp and knowing him he'll do it!

Thats me, it was a pretty quick setup. I decided to move to another setup.

Rafa, my motor is going to be significantly larger then that. Fully built. N/A this motor would be in the neighborhood of 500whp. On turbo.......4 digits easy.

Some people show off when they can put there hands in the compressor inlet.......I can fit my whole hand in the compressor discharge.

I've spared no expense on this setup.

That is indeed his ultimate goal! I can vouch for him.

BTW Mike, put some cockpit reinforcements in there.

Edit; sorry Chad, I meant to answer y8s post.

I had a friend who put a BUILT 350 into a NA chasses. It only took a 15 min test drive to bend the cars frame...and that was only in the 500hp range lol.

Oh, it's going to be much crazier then you could imagine. The build has changed substantially from what it was going to be initially.

Wow, I'm imagining a widebody, beefy tires and a cage incorporated in this plan. I honestly can't even imagine what that kind of power in a miata would be like.

No Widebody, I am going to keep the body factory appearing. Possibly with the addition of a small hood scoop, depending on hood clearance.

It's definately going to have bigger tires then anyone really has ventured to think about putting in a miata. But, a big tire coupled to a hardcore suspension is what it is going to take to hook up.

I only mentioned widebody because I know the fender space is limited in our cars. Are you at least doing flares or do you have some other method for getting enough rubber under there? I imagine you're going to need quite a lot with that power.
