Nice job man, I noticed it looked done from the realtime map this morning. Here is a crappy shot I took of some of the new pixel arts that have been built. There are a few others but we need to move some around because they are hidden behind the larger ones.

Me and Full_tilt also started populating the mall with stores yesterday so now you can easily get alot of the gear you might need like tools and colored wool. You start in the server with $500 and there are signs in place where you can sell your extra dirt and stone to make more money for supplies.

I have also recently implimented a automated backup system that will save a copy of the server files every 45 min to ensure no real harm can be done.



Does anyone think I should start a thread for the server itself or just keep all the updates here in the minecraft thread?

Yeah, I have flirted with the idea of installing that mod before, Tilt and I were discussing how cool it would be if that would occur once eating a combination of mushrooms in game and last only for a specified duration.

Earlier today the server was quite busy with a lot of members all on at once, I would love to see even more miataturbo guys show up. If the server gets any more populated I may wind up promoting some members to mod status to assist others while the admins are away.

 

I don't think it would be very feasible without requiring all clients to modify their files. The glsl shader mod did open up a lot of possibility though. It was fun while it lasted and afterwards I set it to a natural depth of field setting. I meed to learn some of the code that goes into the glsl configuration.

And bukkit is broken :/

Turns out notch only released pistons in the early part of 1.7, I just hope bukkit does not break again after "the adventure update".

I hope to get the time to build some neat stuff with pistons soon.

I just started playing a few days ago... I can see how it's addictive. Spend countless hours doing nothing but digging and stacking blocks. I happened across a HUGE system of tunnels and caverns, pretty awesome to explore.

 

For those that still like to play:

I've found a pretty neat PVP server with factions and all that you can join, and then wage war/raid other factions. It's fun!
