I have the black/ black prototipo and love it. I am using one of the cheap-o $15 ebay hub adapters, and the wheel is still close enough to the combination switches to brush against them occasionally. I don't think it will be too close w/ a quick release, since it is going to be an inch or so farther away to start than a deeper dish wheel.
