I'm very confused by all of this. My natural inclination in such situations is to start banning people.

 

I apologize, but I didnt bring up the subject in the first place. What we have here is a bleed over of angry miata.net members looking to vent their angst towards my apathy regarding the subject.

I appreciate MT's general offensiveness and sarcasm as much as anyone .... for example it was pretty funny to see how the Holocaust suddenly entered this thread in the process of someone making a point (Godwin's Law) .... however if I encountered the term "Jewed" in a real post and in a non-sarcastic/humorous use (i.e. if the poster honestly believed that's an okay term to use), then yes, I would be sincerely offended and probably call you out for it.

On the other hand, I got banned from the MSM forum for writing "****" .... I didn't even technically write it; I wrote "WTF" and the top moderator there (SilverMiataRacer) decided the locals can not stand for such language. I believe the real reason for the ban was because I kept saying "Megasquirt" every time people cited Hydra/Xede as the ONLY viable ecu options for our cars.
