I see the passenger seat is missing. Did that method work well for hauling the engine?

Yeah. I had to jack the car up to get the cherry picker feet under it, but we just dropped it right in and I held it through the turns. Its now a utility miata.

basically a slight overbore to almost a 1.9 with the supertech pistons and CAT rods (which he said tested really well like the high dollar ****), knifed the crank, polished the crank journals, blue printed and balanced it super low (he was bragging about how low it went), cleaned up some casing irregularities (i couldn't afford a full p&p), new valve seals and all that crap, tapped for oil return and temp sensor, decked the head and block a bit to make it straight, provided mahle bearings and crap, and assembled everything but the head to the block for $1296.

which supertech piston CR did you get?

it looks perty. and I told you, you didn't have to take the seat out. but I did also have to jack up the car to get the 'picker under the car.

I took the seat out, and ended up getting another identical set of pistons and after the machine work their right at 8.9:1.

I did the valve cover with a circular saw...lol. I got overspray on the teeth, the timing belt will be just fine.

Ok, I give up. Do I have the wrong waterpump? I don't know where I'm going to mount the tensioner, I don't have an old one to compare it to, and I don't want to take apart my other miatas to figure this out.

Is the block painted or powder coated? Same thing for the VC? It looks very good!
