From the mouthes of babes...

So I'm sitting in the living room, looking pensively out the window. My niece asks "what are you looking at?"

"The sky," I respond, "it's very gray."

She looks out, and responds "Just like your hair."

Dammit...

I sigh a little ever time I get a haircut. My hair doesn't look that grey to me, except when it falls onto a black smock. Better than going bald though, I know several friends my age and younger who already have receding hairlines.

ive had to shave my head since i was 21. Started going bald at 19. Sucks some major dick let me tell you.

I'm well over half bald myself, even though when I don't shave my head it almost doesn't look like I've lost that much. Its not like I have a horse-shoe of hair with a bald center.. Its sparatic so my hair isn't nearly thick as it was when I was like... 20. haha.

I'm 25, btw. :eek5:

Somehow I accepted it quite some time ago and just shave my head instead of crying and getting my undies in a bunch over it.

23 here, and 30% gray......nowhere near bald, but having really dark hair doesnt help hide the crapload of gray hair coming in.

brgracer 10-27-2008 08:17 AM

Not so much related to age, but my 4 year old told me the other day, he was mad that I got another miata because "they are always getting fixed" so why didn't I get something different. :sadwavey: Kids have a way of just telling it to you straight.

23 with a full head of dark brown hair, not a single gray with no recession:-D

Funny kid stuff? Recently, my buddy's 6-year-old daughter walked into the room with her right hand in her pants - rustling it around - and she said, "it tickles when my finger goes in my bottom." Her mother shouted, "Nicole! Do NOT do that! Go Purell your hands this minute." As soon as her mother finished her sentence, little Nicole put her hand in her mouth.

Lotsa grey here, but tons of hair. I always get a kick out of it when I go in for a haircut and I'm sitting next to the folically challenged and the stylist asks me if I want her to thin the top. I usually get a stare from the neighboring chair when I say "sure". 41 with a head full 'o hair.

I'll be 37 in 2 weeks and I can count the grays I've had on one hand. I attribute it to no wife and no kids.

messiahx 10-27-2008 07:15 PM

I'm 20 now and have a major receding hairline and it is pretty sparse on the top. First started losing hair when I was 16/17. It really sucked when the stylist said "Oh, I thought you were much older" last time I got a haircut.

I'll be 38 in 2 months, not a bit of gray. I also attribute it to no wife and no kids!:giggle:

I shave my junk though.

fahrvergnugen 10-27-2008 09:15 PM

38, thinning, but it stopped. I'd shave my head but I am pretty hairy; I would make a great Mr. Unclean.

Lots 'O gray, but I seem to get a lot more hotties look my way these days, probably more because I don't get all wound up about it.
