That happens here as well, and it doesn't even have to be summer for that to happen to me. Just walking to the car now in March makes me break a sweat and its only like 75.

Your car and homeowners insurance is going to get jacked!

My relatives in Birmingham have a house as big as mine, and they spend less than a 3rd of what I pay. They have 5 cars in the household with full coverage for the same rate as my Miata and Mini Cooper alone.

Plus, I can't imagine that anyone except Citizens(state run ins) will cover you in Destin. That's gonna suck x10.


I will be in Florence and Bham the 1st week of April. Playing the RTJ Golf trail...

RTJ has some pretty nice courses. Perfect weather up here right now, maybe it will hold out till then.

Im not too worried about insurance though, home will not be mine, and the only insurance I have to worry about is my Miata. The people that will have to worry about the insurance can afford it, bastards.
