Movies with awesome choreographed dancing

I thought about this a few weeks ago when I watched "The Love Bug." Yeah, it's a sappy Disney movie from the 60's, but I was getting a little bit of a pudgie watching all the cars that Herbie was racing against: Ferraris, Lambos, many other very cool machines that I couldn't identify.

"Le Mans" with Steve McQueen is coming on in about half an hour. I'm going to record it so I can watch (and rewatch) at my leisure. I understand there are some very cool racing scenes in that movie.

Anyway, I thought I'd start this thread for people to mention movies that include something interesting that's car or car racing related, even if it's just a drive-by. Spotted a cool Miata in a movie?

I have to admit, Gone in 60 Seconds is one of the reasons I got into cars. Love that movie.

The original 1969 version of "The Italian Job". The first few minutes of the movie follows a Lamborghini Muira on a mountain road. Not necessarily great driving, but the sexiest car of ever.

When I saw this thread title, the first thing I thought was "LeMans"

I watched Le Mans last night. The racing scenes are the best I've seen, maybe the best that exist, and the best part is the movie is almost one long racing scene. Reminds me of pro porn where the sex scenes are briefly tied together with a storyline that nobody cares about.

I will admit that I'm especially drawn to cars from that era (early 70's.) The LaFerrari is cool, but the Ferrari Dino 246 GT makes my heart beat faster.

It's been a while since I saw it, but as I remember, Ronin had a pretty good chase scene.

I notice a huge flaw in the sound effects of that movie. If you see the part where he steals the car, you can see an automatic shifter, but the sound effects are clearly for a manual trans car.
As for Chrysler 300 owning mustang GT...I believe that. I watched a SRT 8 hemi 300 run a 13.1 with nothing more than a power programmer and a different intake.

Drive is a shitty movie.

Bullitt with Steve Mcqueen is good stuff

Remember when Speed had the drive in movie night? One of the films they showed was Two Lane Blacktop. It was produced in the early 70's I believe.

That movie made me think that the personalities of street racers have not changed much over the years. Pretty cool movie for an old low budget.

Bullitt was exciting. The directing and editing, etc was good, I'll give it that. And the motor noises were cool. :)

But a friend had a Charger like the one in the final chase scene and I know for a fact that they are the worst handling turds ever manufactured. It was impossible to get the car around any corner quickly because it took a half hour to rotate, and then only if/when it felt like it. Understeer is not a strong enough word. My knowledge of that made the entire chase scene seem lame to me.

I had a Chevy wagon with the "trailer package" (stiff suspension and a 402 big block) and I could drive circles around the Charger. It caused no end of shame and embarassment to my friend that such a cool looking car would be consistently spanked by a station wagon.
