mr2 sypder, s2000, miata, renault clio v6

if you had a chance to repurchase a car, would you still choose the miata? If so, why? If not, why?

 

Yep miata, simple and cheap. I do like the s2000, got to drive one for a little. Make this a poll.

I sincerely doubt many people on this forum have actually driven a clio v6. This is a miata forum so the responses to your questions are going to be skewed.

Out of all the cars listed I've only driven the miata so I can't really comment however I think the miata and s2000 are probably the best of the bunch...

 

Mr2 is friggin awsome but miata is still better so i would need both.

 

Of the others, I've only driven an S2000. It was an absolute scream. But even a scruffy used one costs 6 or 7 times what my '90 did. If money didn't matter, maybe something else.....

 

I can have a turbo miata on track worthy suspension done up just how I want it, for like $7k. You can't do that with the other cars. The s2k looks better and is probably faster, but not for the dollar, and I'm a cheap bastard. I'd also have to cut it up to get a roll bar in the car. My xgf has a comptech s2k on tein's with volk wheels. Its a bad *** car, but for the money the miata does it better, cheaper. The the clio is out because its not a vert.

the only other sports car I will consider is a c5 z06.
