Ya that reminded me of an epic fail on honda-tech years ago that involved exposed cam gears and the same result.

Yeah but it would be an epic fail of 2010.

A guy that worked for my dad many years ago stuck his finger in a timing chain (to check tension or something) on a running engine. Finger went bye-bye for a while. It was reattached later at the hospital though, mostly at least.
