WTF?! Odd I haven't heard about this beast before!! Need more jesel.

Gorgeous. Valvecovers look like an LS with the two middle cylinders gone haha.

I am unfamiliar with motorcycle engines. What is the big wheel on the crankshaft for? Crank position sensor?

Yeah, its a 60-2, you can actually see the two missing teeth at some point.

400cc is a great bike size, and I'm glad someone has finally brought it back. Enough power that you won't outgrow it right away like a 250c, and a decent size. I would definitely recommend one.

I'm buying a GSXR750... When I die my car will be parted out cheap.

Get a 1000.
Death will come much quicker and less painful:giggle:

I was looking to get a SV1000 and touch cock tips with my baby Bond, but the bitch sold before I got my hands on it

On a side note, there are more 1000cc bikes for sale, cheaper than 600cc ones.

chiefmg 02-14-2011 03:13 PM

That's because people scare themselves and want the thing gone. Still, you are better off with a smaller bike to start so you can learn limits and not be overwhelmed.

18psi 02-14-2011 03:34 PM

150 at the rear wheel scares the shit out of me

PhantomRoadster 02-19-2011 10:39 PM

Just picked up my first bike and I couldn't be happier!

Sweet bike!

ctxspy 02-19-2011 11:15 PM

that's a big mama.. I didn't dare buy such a big bike for my first time lol

PhantomRoadster 02-19-2011 11:50 PM

It's a ZRX 1200r. I hear ya ctxspy but I've been looking at options the past few months and I fell in love with this bike. Plus I got it for only $2500 with a lot of extras. I'm just going to take it really easy. Reviews said it was heavy but handled well.

18psi 02-20-2011 12:43 AM

This will be your 1st bike? Oh wow. All I gotta say is "be 4 times more careful than too careful" lol.
You know what they say about 1st bikes " its not if its when".

I am the slowest/safest rider I know and even I managed to lay down my kawi after going over some spilled oil on the road. Sometimes even if you take every single precaution you still go down :(

Good luck man

Don't ride past your limits before you know the limits, and everyone in car is trying to kill you

2 best pieces of advice I have ever been given

PhantomRoadster 02-20-2011 10:16 AM

You guys are scarying me a bit but thanks for the advice. I'm going to take a course and take it real easy. I'm not one to show off and go past my limits.
I first looked at this bike because I thought it was a smaller oldschool bike with lower horsepower. What did I get myself into?

well lets see you have a 1200 cc engine makeing aproximately 120 or so hp in a slightly less than 600 lbs packeage that is equivalent to a stock weight miata with 500 hp. ;) and bonus you have to wrangle all that weight with your own 2 legs and brain.
