My pants are tight....
God there are some fantastic engineers on this planet.
I don't think you could have more fun without just attaching turn signals to an F1 (or Indy) car.

Ex-Eddie Cheever 1999 Dallara Indy Car Street legal.
My old neighbor built himself a tube frame CanAM style car back in the late 70's. He rebuilds Corvair parts for a living out of his home. Has a pretty nice home shop. He used a turbo Corvair motor and tranny and used aluminum sheet for the body. Car weighed maybe 13-1400 lbs with 250hp. Nice locost with real downforce and great power to weight ratio for the day. He's only put a few hundred miles on it in 30 years.
That Atom is sweet though, how much hp with the non-supercharged V8 in the US? I'm sure it'll still be crazy, but that sucks that we don't get the supercharger. The wings make that thing look very aggressive, I love it.
I dont think a F1 car would be fun on the streets at all. I dont except they make much downforce at 55. Wouldnt be suprize if you had to crawl through turns to keep it from sliding. After a few insane burnouts, you'd be poor from buying new tires.
