I saw this on Craigslist yesterday. I was thinking about picking it up, stripping the weight out and greddying it for a cheap track car. Nice snag. Heck of a buy with all the new parts. Good thing about the crummy paint is white is so easy to touch up.

The wheels have to go! I've got some 94 semi hollow stockers you could pick up from me.

nice score. I gave $1600 for mine too, and I think it was a little less car.

if you are going to give them to me for Free then sure i'll swap them on. Yeah the dude was a Mechanic. So it has been taken care of. The only thing I gotta fix on it is the stupid Oil Pressure Gauge wires have prolly come loose cus the gauge works but jumps around and sometimes reads dead on other times not. Read somewhere that the stupid connector has come loose and ive been to lazy to look for it.

dude thats not a bad deal at all. just get some 1000 grit and wetsand the hell out of that biatch. Then get some Krylon white base/clear and do a quick paintjob on that bitch. White comes out nice even if you have terrible skills.

As a mechanic, I must admit that I do not take good care of my vehicles.
And on more then one occasion have replaced major components,(e.g., water pumps, power steering pumps, brake master cylinders) which I knew where failing, wile on the shoulder of the road. It was a good thing that I was a mobile mechanic and drove my shop every where I went.

Nope... he put new seals, tensioning wires, and it is a soft top with zipper plastic back window.... Frame looks really newish too so he either replaced that or hit it with some black rattle can
