Blue powerdercoat actually, it's as glossy as any other powdercoat i've seen. Tough stuff though, i've banged it with wrenches and whatnot, no chips or other damage, real pleased with it.

Yeah well cloth seats FTL, ripped piece of ****. Stock fogs FTL too, went to take the back off one to get the bulb to see if i could find a replacement and the whole back of the lamp broke the heck off. Mazda bastards.

I like the cloth seats. THe only problem i have is the 99-00 seats are the least comfortable.

I don't want leather, i just don't want a ripped drivers seat. I would recover it or get a replacement but like you said the seat isn't that comfortable and will be replaced with some sort of race seat eventually. Till then the yellow foam shall protrude.
