Hey guys, I’ve been troubleshooting a no-start on my Miata for weeks now, but just today while I was testing my ignition coils, my Miata started making a beeping noise I had never heard before! Any idea what it could be? It’s happened a few times now, seemingly at random.

 

Airbag. Count some blinks.

 

Yeap, airbag. Ignore that symptom, has nothing to do with no-start.

 

Thank you guys! It was the giant blue box under my dash, from what I found online it’s the airbag diagnostic module and it only beeps if you have an airbag code but no dash lights. The interesting thing is I haven’t had working dash lights this whole time but my module just started beeping, only adds to my confusion lol
