Fabricating is so much fun!!!

Got contracted by the lab at my office to build them some tables to hold some lab equipment.. Makin 4 of um, 325 bucks each.. that might just be enuff to finance a megasquirt!! If i keep my wifes hands off it all.

P.S. 12 guage 4'x8' sheets of steel are freakin heavy!

I guess the sparks arnt so fun when one gets in your eye...

As you can see from teh above pic i never wear safety glasses, just my perscription ones.... Well this weekend while doing a lot of cutting i decided i needed some goggles.. so i baught a pair the kind that are full coverage and fog up a lot...


Well god damn it i still ended up with a piece of hot steel in my eye!


Didnt think it had stayed in so i didnt really look at it much, was just kinda irritated..

Still irritated today so i actualy looked, and there was a huge *** flake right on my iris..

Went to the DR and he pulled the flake out no problem.. but said it left rust behind.. and he had to use a DRILL to get it out.... yeah its as shitty as it sounds!

its weird cus it doesnt hurt.. it was just irritated, but he said that it had went half way to my cornia!
