I may have been the first to show agression, as I looked down and saw I was balling my fist right before their "manager" mouthed off at me. So it's possible that their agression was an escalated response. In no way am I making excuses for or justifying their actions. But I know that if I were threatened in front of a group of friends, my friends would all come to my aid. As I would for them.
This store in question is a franchise. I suppose I could try to contact the owner first, and go from there. You'd think they would be glad that being alert to the problem, not continuing to drive until something seized and therefor saving the shop from eating the cost of an R&R 5.0 Ford V8, they would be thankful.
Whatev. I'll sleep on it.

My state has issues concealed weapon permits also. I just don't know if I trust my temper and judgment when mad to actually carry one. It certainly was there for you if you needed it but you did the smart thing and kept it concealed until you (fortunatly you didn't) really needed it.

oh no dude, I kept it holstered and concealed behind me the whole time. It may have even stayed under my shirt, too. Don't really know. But I'm sure they never saw it, or knew what I was doing. The fact I was armed is between you, me, and a tree. My hand was on it, and I could have drawn if I absolutely had to. But the idea is that you don't draw unless it's unavoidable. And you plan on firing. I just wanted to leave w/o further incident.
Had I pointed a weapon at them, I'm sure they would have called the cops. They already have my license plate number, full name, home address, and phone number. A friendly officer would have been waiting in my driveway for me when I got home.
The point of the story was more about the poor attitude held by a company that was 100% in the wrong, and the fact that they threatened me with physical harm after I asked for a refund from their poor service.
I am not always armed. The CCW permit does not allow me to carry into movie theaters, malls, anywhere with alcohol, etc. And I don't want to leave a weapon in the miata, which could very easily be stolen and used in a crime. When I am armed, I usually carry a SIG .45, but I happened to swap the .45 with a LEO buddy's 10mm. My weapon has a rail, his does not, and he wanted to play with the clip on flashlight/lazer unit.
