There's still time to sell it and retain some masculinity.

I'd check to make sure you still have a *****. That's by far the least manly vehicle I've ever seen. Sometimes it being a good deal doesn't justify it.

NICE
I used to have a gray E wagon with the inline 6. It was probably the best car I ever owned. Is yours the I6 or newer V6?

PS, do you want some AMG monoblocks?

size, offset, pix? post it up here i'm p'bly gonna flip out the 4MATIC for a regular rwd E320T. ultimately, i'd want some 17" powder coated Enkei RP-F1s but if the AMG's price is right, i'd install 'em just to bump up the value of the car.

Let's get back to this part:

w-t-f? Really, I mean, my miata is my "practical" vehicle. I have zero needs, except long road trips with a passenger suck on the bike, and costco trips become more daunting. But why a station wagon? Why drive something that alters the local value of "g" where ever you go? It does seem overkill....

we're trying to become more socially active (biking in the local mountains, events with friends, ie, carpooling), & picking up another dog. the fiance is talkin about getting knocked up. geezus christ folks, you want my whole life story?

there are few here who has traveled more extensively in miatas (3 d'frent states, 3 cross country trips, 1 w/ a 60lb lab mix stuffed on the parcel shelf, 4 moves) than i, but i think the pix of my current garage tells all?

plus i like wagons. a lot. a dream proj is to stuff a W210/W211 M113 5.5L S/C V8 into a W210 wagon...

Good highway car.. even though it is a boat to drive, or maybe that is why it is good at long distance driving.

I usually take either one of those (gf's) or the miata for 400 miles+ drives, the mercedes is a tad more relaxing.
