some cr.net n00b posted a link to a craigslist ad but I guess he posted a link to EDIT the ad and it had his phone number and whatnot in it.

various people here volunteered to add some phallus-related details to the ad and updated the craigslist post. the dude's personal info were all over the thread.

it seemed a little suspect from a forum standpoint so I had to Moderate with Nate D O double G.

 

First, I am Canadian.
Two, generally its the 'poster' who is liable for his posting. The courts just need force me to give up details so the victims lawyer can find you. costly for me and them as I have to use my lawyer to fight it.
Three, Supreme Court of Canada states linking to libel posts or information does not constitute libel from the linking site. See first above.
Four. I seen the thread deleted. I didn't ask for it to be deleted, I LOLd. I would have likely added something to it if I seen it sooner but that's why we have staff who are humans. Judgement call and that's all good

 

Probably for the best. Adding text to his CL ad was funny, using his contact info for RL harassment is...risky.

 

When i lived on residence we used to get peoples phone numbers and call the local tv swap show and say we had free pitbulls, call anytime. LOL
