Thumbs down Ouch...

Well i was coming back from tujunga pass going home, and i came around a bend, and i lost traction in the rear, over corrected, and went nose first into the mountain, it spun my car into a full 180, hit the mountain on the passenger side, and the car tipped over onto it's side, and slammed back down, my friend ryan was in the car with me when it happened, and he thought i was drifitng, so he started to laught until, he realized i had lost it. not a fun night, there was about like 10 other cars there that night, so we managed to hide my embarassment, and drove the car home, having to roll on a donut on the front left side, they towed the car this morning to the shop, i get my estimate monday, and it goes from there, my car was crying on the inside... and he night before i changed my rotors to a drilled and slotted set from dba, some Ebc green stuff pads, and goodwin SS brake lines. i'll get the pictures from ryan as soon as possible to post up.

Have you upgraded your tires and got a sport alignment? If not it is probably the most important two mods you can ever do to your miata for handling performance and you should definitely look into it. Its kind of one of those things you put off for so long and when you get it you regret not having it earlier.

i hobbled on home, and the adjust was tempted to total the car, and then she saw the 10ae badge, an decided to save her. yeah i'm in idiot, acrosse the street there was a cliff so i'm glad i hit the mountain, i went over to see how far the cliff went down, and it was like a black pit, and i accidentally slipped into it, my friends saw me, and then i was gone, i was lucky i caught myself, and my friend ryan pulled me back up. it was a bad night to go out, everyone didn't wanna take their own cars, cause it ahd snowed the day before. and i had a feeling i should of hopped into some one elses car, note to self, listen to gut feelings

my friend has a 91 NA, who was in the car with me, he likes to run on the same road and after the accident, he almost lost his nerve to go in his car, but he went back up just to get the feeling of it again

it was kind of weird yesterday, i was just about to visit my car, and i get a call from the local mazda dealership i was originally looking at for my miata, and they said found one i might want to look at, it's a 2001 with a 5 speed, and only 34,000 miles on it, and today i get a call from the shop, and they decided to total my car, i guess it's a lil bit of a silver lining on my part. i'm gonna try and see if i can buy the car salvaged and take the tranny and rear end out, and possibly keep the motor, they told me i can come down to the shop, and take anything i could possibly want.
