No worries.

D.C. vs Heller already settled this recently. They couldnt outlaw handguns if they wanted to.

The only thing i'm scared of is a spending spree if democrats take house, senate, and president. This has only happened a few times before and usually a filibuster proof senate = radical change.

Getting tired of this argument, so let's play a game. Name this past US president:

-Grew up in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois
-Home/self schooled, save for 18 months of formal education
-Served 4 terms in the Illinois House of Representatives
-Unsuccessful bid for an Illinois Senate seat
-1 term in US House, elected to not seek re-election
-Successful lawyer for over 20 years

Not a lot more experienced than Obama, with only one term on a national scale. Who is he?

And also, the VP doesn't do ****. He/she has as much influence as the President allows them.

What's the matter, Palin isn't the second coming for you? She doesn't fill you with Hope?

Defender of the Republic.

But Lincoln won the nomination for more complex reasons, and then consequently the election. "In an alternative view, Lincoln got the nomination as the result of a local scheme to pack the Wigwam with Lincoln supporters using counterfeit tickets.[2] This early example of Chicago politics was led by Chicago Mayor John Wentworth." Source

Well now we have inexperienced candidates on both sides of the ticket.

He shoulda gone with Tom Ridge. The guy was Mr. Clean.

As always we have the choice of a Turd Sandwich or a Giant Douche. Only thing different is we have much more interesting sandwiches and douches than in recent history to choose from.

My only hope is that whoever wins we have the opposite group in power in the house/senate. Need the balance of power.

I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Both parties stink. What is best for the country, or the best/ most efficient way to collect and spend our money, is not a concern for either party.

I call all ***** *****. Including males, it was far from a sexist statement. An equivalent Obama statement would be "An ******* or not an *******, that is the question".

As president of the senate, she would get the tiebreak vote. Also she is next in line for president god forbid something happens. Considering the age and health of McCain, I suspect I would be very concerned with who is VP for McCain.

And no she is not the second coming, despite what all of her breatheren may want to beleive.

And on the same note as my fears of a democrat for president, a republican as president would most likely equal another term of lame duck president. A democrat controlled senate and house would nearly negate anything McCain could do in office. So in reality the fight has already been turned heavily in the Democrats favor. This is of course pending a successful number of democrats reelected & elected.

I'm in the same politcal boat as you. Hence why I voted Paul in primarys. However status quo is too difficult to break apparently sans full scale coup d'état.

---- is just an acronym for "Can't Understand Normal Thinking"....
Yes, both male and female can fall into this category.
If Obama is elected, atleast we can now say that we are even for the past century.

So nobody read the article I posted.

McCain did not research his vice presidential candidate pick very well. NO FBI BACKGROUND CHECK. He met with her for the first time the day before he chose her.

What exciting times we live in that a presidential candidate doesn't need to research his most important decisions. I don't want to be subject to the whims of some guy I disagree with for another day, let alone 4 years.

PS Lieberman is a mix of saliva, lube, jizz, and feces.

I read it, I spent more time than that when I hired my last assistant. Makes you wonder if he has the countries best interest in mind or just wants to win.

I read it Matt, thanks for the link. I've read a few more articles on this whole thing as well. I used to weigh in on politics on forums. but it did nothing but give me high blood pressure so I keep my thoughts to myself.

Your liberalism is showing... Face it, she scares the **** out of the Democrats.

It's amazing how liberals drop the pretense of tolerance when it works against them.

No, they had a single phone interview a few months ago. Her parents found out on TV, and the only person on her staff to know anything was her CoS or something like that. It was as if McCain's people chose her specifically to steal the news cycles away from the DNC.

she scares me like crazy. i'd rather have just about any of the other republican candidates over her.

mccain dies and she's president.

she's a lightweight. more executive experience than obama? yeah. and mccain too.

just watched her speech. pretty light on substance. threw a few steaks to the animals but didn't present much. she'll get the base fired up like any other cheerleader or evangelist (generic terms, puns not intended but coincidental) but she isn't going to win anyone over.

I think borderline women who were pro-clinton for the female aspect would rather have a Michelle Obama than a Sarah Palin. She's just too polarizing to garner enough of the middle to help him.

and my god if the babydaddy of Bristol looks VERY uncomfortable in that suit.
