Start with my post at 68 and continue. Holy shit. :vash:

The guy just won't give up. He's been shown in painful detail by the pro's that he's comlpetely wrong, to the point that his information could potentially lead to somebody getting themselves killed, and still won't shut up.

kotomile 05-29-2011 05:37 PM

Holy crap. I've seen some stubbornness in my day, but he takes the cake.

EDIT - I may or may not go by J. Shagnasty on dotnet.

NA6C-Guy 05-29-2011 06:05 PM

Sub belts aren't to be taken lightly. I recall one of my automotive teachers who used to race professionally talking once about a friend of his who died in an accident on the track, who didn't have a sub belt installed (I guess it was a long time ago). They couldn't find him initially after the crash, they didn't see him ejected. Turns out his body was fully under the dash/upper footwell area in a mangled mess. Scary stuff.

That Pat guy is an idiot.

viperormiata 05-29-2011 06:43 PM

That is completely asinine. He really needs to be taken out of that thread.

MartinezA92 05-29-2011 07:57 PM

This is what morons on the internet ACTUALLY believe.

nitrodann 05-29-2011 09:17 PM

Thats just typical forums. Fucking idiots.

thats why MiataTurbo is the best forum there is IMO.
If someone says something stupid, or a valid point is flamed the user responsible pays for it.

It's ok honey, I have one here for when you head down to SA. Tar and feathers and the whole 9 yards. :jerkit:

We all knew pat was an assbag. You all act shocked. That is what sucks about m.net. They will never remove or accept the flaming of the shit opinions. Then we get retards that read all the shit there, believed it, and show up here thinking they know their shit. Fuck. Don't get me started on the supercharger and n/a asshattery there. Throttle response FTW.

Rennkafer 05-30-2011 11:39 PM

I think that's about the dumbest thing I've seen him say (amongst many).

Thanks to those who pointed out his idiocy in no uncertain terms... I'm surprised someone hasn't come through and "cleaned" those comments out of the thread as is normal M.net practice.

y8s 05-31-2011 10:46 AM

dude needs to do more track days.

with his own safety ideas in place.

spitefulcheerio 05-31-2011 12:02 PM

I know nothing about safety harnesses in race cars as I've never built a car for the track. Even though that's true, I can still tell that guy has no idea what he is talking about.

Possible endangerment of other people's lives should be a ban-able offense

pusha 05-31-2011 02:06 PM

pro troll

spoolin2bars 05-31-2011 09:13 PM

more? that douche has apparently been tracking for 30years! came in dead last at the '88 runoffs! lol...that's why he'll never listen to anyone. he's old as fuck and figures he's right cuz he's still alive. pat mcfuck / 90r / whatever his name is, he def. needs to be banned before he gets someone killed. next he'll be telling people that are drowning to just open their mouths to equalize the pressure and they'll be fine.

Cococarbine 05-31-2011 09:18 PM

This is atrocious. Some people just need to be high-fived in the face.
