The guy just won't give up. He's been shown in painful detail by the pro's that he's comlpetely wrong, to the point that his information could potentially lead to somebody getting themselves killed, and still won't shut up.

Holy crap. I've seen some stubbornness in my day, but he takes the cake.

EDIT - I may or may not go by J. Shagnasty on dotnet.

Sub belts aren't to be taken lightly. I recall one of my automotive teachers who used to race professionally talking once about a friend of his who died in an accident on the track, who didn't have a sub belt installed (I guess it was a long time ago). They couldn't find him initially after the crash, they didn't see him ejected. Turns out his body was fully under the dash/upper footwell area in a mangled mess. Scary stuff.

That Pat guy is an idiot.

That is completely asinine. He really needs to be taken out of that thread.

Thats just typical forums. ******* idiots.

thats why MiataTurbo is the best forum there is IMO.
If someone says something stupid, or a valid point is flamed the user responsible pays for it.

We all knew pat was an assbag. You all act shocked. That is what sucks about m.net. They will never remove or accept the flaming of the **** opinions. Then we get retards that read all the **** there, believed it, and show up here thinking they know their ****. ****. Don't get me started on the supercharger and n/a asshattery there. Throttle response FTW.

I think that's about the dumbest thing I've seen him say (amongst many).

Thanks to those who pointed out his idiocy in no uncertain terms... I'm surprised someone hasn't come through and "cleaned" those comments out of the thread as is normal M.net practice.

I know nothing about safety harnesses in race cars as I've never built a car for the track. Even though that's true, I can still tell that guy has no idea what he is talking about.

Possible endangerment of other people's lives should be a ban-able offense

more? that douche has apparently been tracking for 30years! came in dead last at the '88 runoffs! lol...that's why he'll never listen to anyone. he's old as **** and figures he's right cuz he's still alive. pat mcfuck / 90r / whatever his name is, he def. needs to be banned before he gets someone killed. next he'll be telling people that are drowning to just open their mouths to equalize the pressure and they'll be fine.

This is atrocious. Some people just need to be high-fived in the face.
