Wow! How do we elect this best NEWB post ever?!?

If that's a real picture I can see it being something the Israeli's published as what to do in case of a nerve gas attack. If it's a goof it's hilarious. Either way major Kudo's to R808.

Good to see Hustler thugging again too.

Sav deleted/modded yours, mine, and someone else's on the matter, and deleted hyper's too. That what he said in a PM to me.

christ on a cracker...

I predict that coolant wont even flow right with this reroute and the car overheats.

Savington 02-19-2009 02:00 PM

I don't see any serious fundamental flaws in it, actually. I don't like running the heater core through a separate heat exchanger since it will probably increase coolant temps and comprimise the heater until the motor is warm, but at least he's not running both sides of it to the water pump now :bang:

I dont get that or why he is reintroducing the coolant back into that heater core stream before it has a chance to cool anything.

remember when he said "simple and with the least points of failure as possible"?

So much for "least points of failure"

Braineack 02-19-2009 04:07 PM

if you cant maintain 200*F because of your heat core, then you have bigger issues...

mrwoolery 02-19-2009 04:17 PM

I hereby officially dub the engine block coolant port the "Holy Grail Port". :giggle:

Lots of unnecessary bits in there...

Braineack 02-19-2009 05:04 PM

I'd be much more concerned with fitting an oil cooler than bothering with cooling the heat core return.

Don't worry, I predict this car will end up just like his last one.
