Petit Le Mans, who is going?
So I'm seriously contemplating coming to Ammurrica for the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in october (17-20 I believe). Anybody else planning to go? We should meat:party:
Shuiend/Lars: you better be there :makeout: |
I'm not seeing that on the schedule. Is it Sprint Cup or Nationwide?

I don't have enough remaining days off this year, but its on the list of stuff to do next year. |
Petit is a great event. I go most years, though I'm not sure if I will make it this year. If you are planning to camp, get there EARLY--as in when the gates open--to get a good spot. Camp sites will fill up quickly.

I am going to try to go. I have a wedding at the start of the month so I will have to see how much money and time off I can get.

Question- do venues such as this ever have RV hookups, or is it understood that you will be dry camping?
Different tracks have different amenities. Road Atlanta does have a few RV power hookups. I do not think they have any sewage hookups. |
Road Atlanta has power hookups but no sewage hookup. They have a few shower facilities spread all over the place. I will be there, but not camping.

I don't know if I'm going yet... but I compare it to the Talledega of Road Racing... party starts Tuesday. Screw the tent and ants this time, my rolling 'RV' Excursion is big enough to camp in :) |
Will be there....dunno if the Miata will be going or not.

Yay more mt.net peoples. Now if somebody could pick me up from the airport, that'd be great :giggle:
|
Depending on how much luggage you have....and where you'll be staying

-Raj If I camp--and that's a big if because my house is right up the road from the track--,I'll probably do so in my trailer. It has a/c. Plus that might motivate me to finally install the stereo. I was also considering a projector and xbox. |
There is a chance that I may not be going out. I am scheduled to go on a business trip to St. Louis in October. Unfortunately I have no clue when they will actually decide to have it, and knowing my luck it will be that week.
