I think it's the number of people around. In college, with 300 women you could easily talk to a day, having something to say that's isn't space-cadet art student rambleings is important, as there's no shortage of hot girls.

Now when it's the 52 year old secretary who outweighs you or the 23 year old art student who you see every day on her way to her tantric sex class..... Yeah, a lot of dumb **** can come out of her mouth before it's the turn off it used to be.
