yea there is no need to make your car rusty,i guess all the cali guys dont have to deal with rusty pos all the time.like the north east.i could have gotten him a all rusty car...

he also thinks hes going to clear it and it will stop the rust from continuing.

 

I am all for automotive originality. I actually kinda like the trunk now that he has added the pinstriping. It seemed very out of place before the striping.

However, i can't stand the rusted fenders AT ALL, nor his fascination for the removed finish panel.

 

I jumped on his *** several times in the thread.

The car looked sweet before he turned it into a 'hood ride' whatever the hell that is.

 

A 90's Japanese sports car doesn't make a good ratrod. The car has fetish written all over it. Reminds me in a way of those who have a fetish for amputation.

...BUT!...that rollbar is way to close without padding, way to low, not liking the exhaust(to big and ricer coffee can looking), and WTF is with the no finish pannel? Its ugly under there, cover that **** up.

 

he finally painted the rust, and replaced the panel. then added random pinstriping.

I'm just still laughing at the fact he posted some BS thread about finding the car in the junkyard, and couldn't handle it when people called his **** stupid.

Couldn't handle it? I thought he handled it quite well, considering how harsh some of the comments were. People got really ****** emo over rusted fenders,lol. Relax, he swapped them over already.

 

I agree the owner of the car handled it quite well. It was his groupies that got bent out of shape and looked like tools. Either way the car is goofy looking (with or with out rusted fenders).

 

I'm all for unique but if you have a theme you should take it all the way. If you want to make a fairly decent car look like a sh*t box go for it but he has no artistic talent or imagination for this. The matching rusted front fenders for instance. If he really wanted to do it right it would have had one rusted fender and the opposite door painted in another color. The finish panel shouldn't have been removed, it should have had a big chunk broken out of it. One of the front turn signals should have been removed and the bulb left to hang from the opening. I'm sure you all are getting the idea.

Friggin guy's a poser. If you're gonna do it make it a real jalopy.
