Driver playing Pokemon Go hits Baltimore cop car in crash caught on video

BALTIMORE – A man playing Pokemon Go while driving ended up colliding with a Baltimore police officer's parked patrol car early Saturday morning.

The officers had just responded to a 911 call and were standing on the sidewalk around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday when one officer's body camera recorded the accident.

They were standing steps from the vehicle when, suddenly, a tan-colored Toyota RAV4 slammed into the patrol car at high speed.

No one was seriously injured, and when officers caught up to the driver he seemed more embarrassed than anything.

The driver got out of the car holding his phone so police could see the game, and said, "That's what I get for playing this dumb a** game."

"#PokemonGO is not all fun and game," Baltimore police . "Here is a video of a distracted driver who struck one of our cars. #PlaySafe."

 

Call bullshit on that. What kind of idiot incriminates them selves like that.

So, to be clear:

You have become so desensitized to life in general that, in a thread about people chasing imaginary animals through the real world with potentially fatal consequences, I respond to a post containing an imaginary two-headed bird with a picture of a two-headed woman, along with a verifiable description of the fact that it is, in fact, an actual two-headed woman, followed by speculation about the moral and legal consequences of various sexual acts involving said two-headed woman (eg: wouldn't masturbation also technically be incest?) and the first thing that goes through your mind is "gee, that's a weird way to spell her name."

Have I pretty much got that right?

 

My first thought was which way they go when confronted with an obstacle directly in their line of travel. Do they both panic and try to turn towards their dominant hand? I need to know!

That'd be a cool app, give me a psych eval using some off the wall questions. Then direct me towards people for easy manipulation, while I also have to avoid the same.

Or is that how online dating works?

 

What about voting? I imagine that they get two votes, but what of the laws that state you cannot bring another in the voting booth with you?
