I think it's time they get their own section as a sub-category of the Bull **** section. Please, then when I get all worked up like tonight I can ban myself so to stay away from them easier.
I think we discussed this a while back, and decided that BS covers it all.
I've been on forums with a P&R section, which was fittingly called The Dungeon. I think it actually makes for a worse environment for discussion, because everyone walks in like they know there's a shitstorm going on, and they already know which direction they're flinging in.
Keeping the debate in the open forum environment will make it more civil, as we'll keep the same respect (or disrespect) we do in technical discourse.

User CP > Settings > go to bottom and take off updates on sub-forums you don't have time for
I'm about to go back in. You'd be surprised how much quicker your mt.net "check-ins" go when you're not seeing all the BS, Adaptronic and other kind of threads every time you click New Posts.

I like the BS but not always the politics. BS doesn't mean "debate" always. politics seems to.
if it's separated, it's going to be unmoderated and I'll probably never read it.

I'm split on the decision. I would love the **** out of an all out, **** fest of an unmoderated political section. But like you say ^ the BS section would be dead without that kind of thing.
On second thought, I wouldn't mind a separate politics and religion section here....could be fun as long as it's unmoderated.
We'd have to warn everyone that you enter at your own risk, and not to make it or take it personal.
