Post your Job and what other cars you own/have owned

I think I've decided this is a forum to my liking. The people here are pretty cool, there isn't a bunch of n00bs because most can't take the intial beating and leave, (which i think is a GREAT way to keep the retards out) and most importantly, the wealth of information stored on this site is outstanding.

So basically I just want to know the people better here as I plan to stay for a while. I'll be starting a 1jz swap around this time next year and will track all my progress on this forum. So what else do you own or have owned and what do you do for money that you can talk about openly?

I'm USAF, job is Tactical Aviation Mechanic by title, Crew chief for short. I work on F-16, F-15, A-10, and soon, the F-35. I haven't had a chance to work on the F-22 but from what i gather it sucks. I've owned over 13 different cars in Japan alone, to include a 1995 Supra (NA-T), R33 Skyline that started life as an Auto RB20 and was sold as an AWD RB25 bored forged and GT35R'd (I didn't do the AWD conversion), 1998 RX-7, EVO IV, Twin turbo'd Legacy B4, 1991 MR2 gen 3 swapped, and several others. I "built" the Skyline on my own with some help from a neighbor in my building but for the most part was me. So share! I want to know about you people.

Currently own:
2005 Corolla XRS (2zzge 6 speed)
1998 Honda Ascot (G20 2.0 5 cylinder FTW)
2000 Toyota Chaser (1jzgte AUTO :()

Have owned:
2x 1991 Chevrolet Blazer (4wd 4.3L)
Lexus is200 (1gfe 2.0 6 cylinder ------- tiburon fail all over again)
Legacy B4 (Japanese version has Twin turbo EJ20)
1996 Camaro (V6)
1996 Evo IV (disgusting)
1998 Rx7 (apex seal destroyer)
1990 R32 (rb25 swap moderately fast)
1994 R33 (auto rb20 NA swap to awd 5 speed rb25 built with a GT35r)
1995 Supra (started as auto na ended as w58 NA-t)
1992 MR2 (gen 3 swapped ct20b etc.)
1995 Silvia (Na to sr20)
2001 Silvia (Na to sr20)
I think that's it.
So share! I want to know about you people.

I searched the ---- out of this forum to find it because somebody mentioned it. I couldnt find it and I went back 9-10 pages.

EDIT - Found it, but there's more than likely been a lot of new members since it was created last year.

Um, as I just edited, I DID search, but searched for within the last 6 months. No point in bringing a dead ass thread back to life especially since it's a year old. Besides, if I posted in there you guys would still bust my balls for reviving a dead thread. Either way you f---s are gonna jerk me around so its better this way anyway.

The prior thread was job and education. Got plenty of both, check out the other thread if interested.

Hey, djp, what's a Medical Physicist?

This thread adds the CAR element. So:

Current:
1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible (440 -- I've owned it for 29 years)
1981 Mercedes 380SL (makes wife look hot)
1990 Mazda Miata Turbo (DD on nice days)
2000 Ford Expedition 4x4 (horsemobile)
2009 Pontiac G8 GT (DD in inclement weather or when I need back seats)

Some Notables from the Past:
1970 Caddy Eldo (10:1 502 -- 400HP 550FT-LBS and FWD -- What a Hoot!)
1973 Caddy Eldo Convertible (wife really wanted it -- it looked like an RC car when she drove it -- she got lots of tickets with it -- not nearly as good as the 1970)

Looking at this list, I guess I'm mostly a V-8 guy.

Let's rename this thread to take everything serial thread. Where we take everything we read on the net as a personal attack. It will be fun.

Now now FRT lets not start attacking me. Why don't you just respect the fact that I don't like my mother being talked about like that? I almost lost her. You probably don't know what that's like. So I'd for real appreciate dropping that and leaving her alone.

1. I did not attack you.
2. I will not respect that because you are on the internet.
3. Really? I was deployed to Afghanistan, and on the shitty end of a metric ass ton of ambushes. And we were light infantry dropped in the corner of random valleys where our mission was basically movement to contact. You know nothing.
4. Stop getting all butt hurt or you will never ever make it here. I'm not being an ass, I'm just telling you how it is. Do what you want. There will be more noobs next week.

Meh, why not.

IT Support Manager for a Fortune 500 company.

Daily drive a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis, also own a 2000 Mazda Protege, 1995 Miata with a blown motor, a 1958 Edsel Pacer 4 door, and old trusty 1994 ZX6 Ninja.

Previously:
1983 Nissan 300ZX
1990 Nissan 240SX
1991 Nissan 240SX
1988 Ford Ranger pickup
1990 Nissan 300ZX
2006 Mazdaspeed6
1995 325i
1986 Toyota 4runner

Favorite was tie between Mazdaspeed and 4runner. Most unique is my Edsel, and least favorite was the 90 300zx because of the work I put into it and short amount of time I owned it. Of course I bought the 83 300 from a "friend" after he wrecked my motorcycle and sold it about 8 months later when I needed some extra cash... Wish I kept that car. Longest ownership is the Edsel and the Ninja motorcycle. Honestly I'm getting tired of dicking with cars all the time and have reached a point in my life where I just want something reliable that drives me to work. Plus I'm house broke, now.

I'm a little biased but if you want Job security and something you can use when you get out, go Air Force. They really take care of their people. I'm finishing my degree right now and afterwards will be applying for Commissioning. I can't stress enough how EASY the Air Force is and how REWARDING it can be for the simplest of things you do. I made a Product using Excel and Powerpoint using the very basics, and I received an award, coin, and put in for Nco of the year at undisclosed deployed base. Granted it was made for the General to look at in case ---- went south with our neighbors, the amount of effort I took to create that ---- was nil.

What branch? She's not disabled either, took shrapnel through the ankle and a piece to the lower neck. Another inch up or to the right and she'd have been a goner. Now she schools me in P90X. 23 years and just put on E8. (Active to Reservist)

With all due respect to your mother, you are in a place called The Internet. It is filled with people who have the emotional maturity of a retarded 10 year old child on crack. (insert criticism from parents of retarded 10 year olds here.) If you cannot read a joke involving "your mom" without taking it personally, then I suggest you move to Pennsylvania and join the Amish, as that's just about the only place where you will be safe from our witty onslaught.
