They need to get their fucking shit in gear and build a small 2 door roadcar with a 6 liter. I'd buy one, if it was covered with the lifetime powertrain and a FUCKING MANUAL GOD DAMN TRANSMISSION! &*(!@^&*!@^#$(

Strange car - reminds me of a Dodge pickup truck from the front, combined with a Z4 on the side, with a bit of Audi from the rear. Not half bad looking, but I can't see anyone shopping the sporty two-seat ragtop market would pick this over a Miata, Solstice/Sky, or if you move upmarket, S2000, Z4 (or even Z3) or TT. Dead before it gets off the ground, unless they come in WAY under the base price of the lower end of the market, IMHO.

Cheers!

I was actually giving this car some serious thought...key word, was.

Seriously...All Dodge had to do was get a decent chassis...A SRT-4 motor...make it RWD...and handle decent, not even great...and you'd have one hell of a fast roadster with massive power potential...but no...

FF? wtf? a FF vert is gay as shit.

Exactly. I've read at least two magazine editorials calling for an affordable RWD turbo car, something like a modern-day Silvia. Dodge blew it.

Personally I think it will either fail miserably like the crossfire or it will be a weird success because there is a market for people who want a sport car and think FWD >*.

mazda/nissan 01-15-2008 09:19 AM

they will still sell even if they are front wheel drive. Think of all of the starbucks women you see driving around in their solstices and sky's, think they know where the pushing wheels are? Hell most people don't even know their grand prix's and Taurus's are front wheel drive.

hustler 01-15-2008 10:24 AM

so not only is it fwd, but its a chinese car too? WTF? I wonder why dodge can't sell cars?

Absolutely fucking pathetic.
