Where can i get a temp sensor for a link ECU?

I was sold the ECU recently and it wasnt sent with the rest of it now the seller has dissapeared.

I thought the link was configured to run on stock sensors? Couldn't you just replace the sensor with a stock one?

edit* Thought you meant CLT not IAT/MAT... ignore me.

You could always call Flying Miata and see if there are any vendors in the UK that have it cheaper. I know they have the Link solely to them selfs for miatas in the US but in other parts of the world I believe other countries might sale it.

thats a good idea cheers for that

just a shame that I even have to as the seller should have assumed responsibility!

1. the older versions of the link software don't utilize an air temp sensor.
2. FM is the US vendor of the Miata Link ECU. Link however builds ECUs for other applications. They very well may share the temp sensor. I'd check with the Sub/Honda/Toyo guys. Someone will have the sensor for (significantly) less than FM

To run with out the IAT sensor you'd have to run with an older version of the firmware and probably end up giving up things like knock sensing.

Give FM a call they might be able to help you out.
