Its a 360, the 318 can really only go up to 390, even that makes the cylinders paper thin...ask me how I know. You can take a 340 and make a 416 and I believe you take take the 360 up to a 416 as well.
My next goal is to take my 318 and do a single turbo setup. I ordered exhaust flanges a few weeks ago. Just have to tackle building custom stainless steel turbo headers in my little A body engine compartment...

Haven't had the time to snag one yet, but I've found a dozen 5.9 1500 Ram trucks in a local yard that sells longblocks for $135.00 + $15 core. Decided to go with the complete forged rotating assy just in case I wanna put some serious boost on it one day, but the problem with that is electronics (I know, piggyback MS2/3 would be fine) and driveline. My ZJ currently has an NP249 in questionable condition (It'll cut better donuts than my S/C miata did) yet 4wd still seems to work when it wants to??? Couple that with a dana44 rear end the 416 might explode N/A.. Considering my plans really never include any kind of major offroading with this truck, I dont want to replace the ENTIRE driveline to keep stuff from exploding.
Going to have friend build a 46RH transmission as much as he can, use an NV242 T-Case and stock front/rear axles until they fail, if they do.
Basically I just want to build a stoplight crusader. After my experiences in high school with my buddys parents 98ZJ Limited spanking 5.0 mustangs and my best friend buying three (all the colors made..lol) 98 Limiteds here as of late... What I have is a tired old 318 with almost 300k miles, but it was still enough to crush some kids dream yesterday. Just pulled out of a kia dealership w/30 day tags and window sticker still remained thinking he could kick my *** in his 2 door "sports car." Not something I normally do but all the cards fell in place for the perfect place for it to happen safety wise, so I figure what the hell. I didn't even launch it, just stabbed the gas after he started to leave the line and put about 4 cars on him by 60 when I lifted. The kid cut across 3 lanes of traffic and turned real quick. Pretty sad, factory rated 225hp/300tq in a 3800# truck with 290k miles....
One of those stupid things, only black.
Not sure if I ever posted pl0x.. 96 Grand Cherokee Orvis edition. Body is in really great shape for the year/mileage/midwest..

Y'all are resurrecting dreams I have about doing something to a early 2nd generation Dakota like the one I use to have.
If I still had that truck, this would be seriously tempting.
Looks perfect for a lil bit of boost.
This guy says he made 530hp with a twin turbo 318. If I could, I would have a new project.

This is a 4" in. stroker kit that weve used many times in our builds. It yeilds a 9:5 to 1 compression ratio with 64 cc heads. Great for your street rod - pro street car. It has forged pistons, H-Beam forged rods w/ ARP bolts, Moly rings and an Eagle/SCAT cast steel crank. Included is the Main brgs. and Rod brgs. This is an internal balanced assy. that needs to be balanced. We offer balancing at an additional charge of 150.00.

Might've posted this before. Cobra a friend built:
Has a Ford 357 Stroker, Edelbrock EFI, Tremec TKO600, and some crazy Jag IRS with inboard disk brakes.. This car pulls like a freight train.

Looks like you have a pretty badass analog scope
I was reading the variable reluctance sensors in a Honda distributor on my scope just the other day:
I wrote some code trying to simulate it with an ATmega328 IC, but I needs some conditioning and amplification to trigger the ECU properly. So Im still working on that part.
Looks like this straight from the micro, but will need to go negative to trigger the ECU me thinks:

I don't know if you guys autocross different in Australia than we do here in Kansas, but there's none of this standing next to the track bullshit here. At any SCCA event I've ever attended or participated in it would've been next to impossible for anything like that to ever happen.
