Penetrating the concrete is probably a no-no. This is a 56 story building, and they don't take kindly to residents drilling holes in structural materials.

That's actually a brilliant idea. I'd been thinking sandbags, but blocks are a lot cheaper and easier to install.

No cameras that I'm aware of on the second story, which is where I am. Only down on level 1, where the entrance / exit / valet station are.

Are you allowed to discuss whether the producers / showrunners have talked about the program being available with English subtitles anywhere?

Yes, I am.

As a matter of fact, a subtitled version is definitely in the works.
I had a talk with the director and the producer about this very subject just the other day. Turns out, TRT has farmed this whole thing out to some company already.
They will be transcribing and translating the audio, and then the show will be made available to foreign markets.

I kindly reminded them we specialize in technical translation (among other things) and that it should be us who should be doing the translation related stuff for the sake of quality control.
They agreed.
We will be talking to TRT this week to get that job.

Hell, translating myself is not that difficult.

Here I am, translating an equine surgical procedure...

No penetration (that's sexually violating a building. rule 34 or something), but can you epoxy them down?

Dunno. I'm trying to keep a low-profile at the moment. This is a nice building, I got a great price on the condo, and I'm just a renter, not a unit-owner. So trying not to make waves. (The fact that I'm planning to engineer a waste pump system to forcibly accelerate the shower drain is probably bending the rules far enough.)

I love working with German CAD drawings. (Well, Liechtensteinein, but they speak German.) So precise. Such verbose layer names.

Liechtenstein is where our Kaiser walking excavator is made. It a pretty principality and is about the size of some American counties. I went to the factory there in 2007.
