Default Looking for some speakers (home)

I'm looking for some speakers to put in these nice cabs I have. I need some plain ol' 8" speakers. This is for my home theater system. Can anyone recommend a decent place online to pick some up? Looking for cheaper rather than $$$$ like under $50 a piece.

Alternative is if anyone has a surround setup (no receiver/amp needed) they want to trade I have some guitar cabs and speakers I could offer up... Also have some audio recording equipment.

Interesting question, I have never even thought about buying home theater speakers separate from their cabinets. I never even thought it would be possible. Good luck to you, but I would imagine ebay maybe?

I know you said cheap, but crutchfield is probably the best place online for stuff like that.

Crutchfield can eat a dick. I'd rather go to BB and have saleman talk me into $500 worth of Monster products than buy from Crutchfield. Don't believe the hype.

Here's where you need to do some homework.

There's even a DIY speaker forum where you can start.

Most people will probably steer you here for hardware:

You can't go wrong with Dayton Reference stuff for OEM replacement.

It would be awesome if you knew the specs on the crossover... would make suggesting something easier. Does the cabinet have a brand name or can you take some pictures.

Ben will chime in here soon... he does this **** for a living.
