I was in the castro a couple weeks ago (lots of miatas... easy to park...) for dinner at Chow with my fam. we didn't go to any gay bars. I think our server might have been into his own gender but I had a pilsner.
So.. the population of the castro is optimistically 15,000 or something. lets assume half gay (it's a hip neighborhood if you aren't a homophobic waste of oxygen) so that's 7500 gays in the castro.
the population of the SF bay area is about 7.5 million.
most bars dont cater to .1%, they cater to 99%. which in the bay area is Google employees.
Which means Rock Bottom Brewery. Where, of course, they serve:

Well I am going back to Santa Clara the week of 2/28. Since we have some advance notice, who wants to partay? I have to charge SOMETHING to my expense account at work to make it look like I am doing ****.
