Do any of you ever identify with some of the lyrics in this song or am I just getting older and more reflective?

Yeah pretty much. Feels like life is spinning it's wheels.

You've probably not heard it before. I came across it because some of his other songs popped up on one of my Pandora internet radio channels and I investigated him further. He wrote and performed "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Living in a Land Down Under" by Men at Work back in the day. He was the lead singer. I really enjoy his acoustic version of their '80's hit "Overkill" as well. Sometimes I'm just in an acoustic mood. (Ignore the videos because they were created by youtube users and have distracting visual themes)


And I enjoy this tune called "It's a Beautiful World"

Once you have a kid, everything changes. You live for them, and not yourself. When that happens, your life has meaning.

I babysat a kid once. do not want.

I understand that. I tried the "I'm going to my job now to not only support myself, but to make my child's life better" mind frame. It didnt work. I still hate my job and the fact that I continue to go there.

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
