Is the 360 worth it?

I'm like, Never home. Have owned a v1 PS2 and Xbox for almost 10 years now, the PS2 still works but the POS xbox quit reading my dvds the other day....

If you can't have more than 10 rounds in a mag, thats Un-American. The founders of this country would roll over in their grave... then again when they wrote the constitution I am pretty sure they were using muskets... how many rounds did that hold?

Remember, the second amendment was put in place to prevent the government from having too much power over the people. It was a way to keep our leadership in check. That is why it so dangerous to disarm the populace. Worked great for Hitler though.... I know this probably sounds crazy but we can't afford to ignore those things that are happening around us. While I agree with the idea that the government should be a servant to it's people, and the citizens should have arms to defend themselves from the abuses of their government. Sadly I think our government has gone beyond the point that we the people can post up a valid resistance.

i have never really been into video games, but the games out now are good. i play it a ton now.

Computer everything - coding, building, modding, fixing other peoples' shit, etc.
Exercise 6 days a week - running, lifting
Boxing,
Biking when it's not winter,
Partying/hanging out with friends,
Going skydiving for the 2nd time come spring,

The reason Hitler is brought up so much is there are a number of striking similarities.

- Hitler's rise to power was due to the general displeasure of the ruling government.
- The economy in Germany was in horrible shape and Hitler promised change.
- Hitler was for the little people, ie the VW Bug, the peoples car. Share the wealth.
- Hitler banned guns, wonder why?

If you somehow think that even during the war that people would have risen up(with their guns) against the fuhrer, you have no clue about what happened.

You are right, (no pun intended) we are getting fucked from both sides. The republican party that used to stand for small government is no more. The left used to be worried about civil liberties but is no longer. I'm a libertarian myself. Do what you want as long as your rights don't infringe upon mine it's all good. Live and let live. You are right, I am over-simplifying by pointing the finger at Obama but he does stand for many things that I believe are horribly wrong. Gun control worked so well in Chicago (seen their murder rates lately?). He did great with public education as well. Ill has one of the highest dropout rates in the country. He's consistently voted left on every issue that has been brought before him including gun control. He likes affirmative action and in general has done everything he can to enable the "entitlement mentality" of the poor. Socialism doesn't work, gun control doesn't work (look at Canada, UK, England, all gun control failures). I lived in Delaware so I'm unfortunately familiar with Bidens track record. Just keep your eyes open folks.

I was south of Abu Dhabi last month.
I don't have a lot of time for hobbies over here (work, eat, sleep, repeat). Here is the short list wile i am state side.

1.working on my pilots license (passed the written test wile home in September)

2. making my airplane flight worthy again (last owner had an off field landing)

3. Flying my RC aircraft

4. fire arms of all shape and size ( my gun collection is worth more then my house, car, and plane)

5. amateur radio

Kotomile, if that question was addressed at me, the company I work for is based out of the UAE, and I fly there about 6 times a year. Though i have spend more then 4 years in the middle east, i have not been able to acquire the local tong.

You or Nicasus. I want to visit UAE, either abu DHabi or Dubai would be a fantastic trip. It would be a good opportunity for immersion in the language (Gulf arabs' dialect is closest to what I'm learning) plus the car culture there is insane.

My other hobby is road racing motorcycles. It is like an addiction. I know it could kill me, but DAMN it is so INTENSELY fun. One of these days I will have to give it up and honestly I have no idea what I will replace it with. Maybe karts.

I definitely inherited the thrill seeker gene from my father. He raced karts in his younger years, and bought a Pantera for his DD even though we could not afford it. One time he took me for a drive. I was so young I barely remember it. I kept asking him to go faster and faster on some twisty roads until I hurled in the passenger seat. In retrospect he thought it was funny.

Saw this thread hasn't been opened in a long time. Thought I'd bring it back and share. Aside from drifting, working on the car, and messing with my buddies cars, I play guitar and sometimes play in bands when I have time. I also love to go up the top of the mountain and hike. I'm also an avid music collector. I truely have a love of pretty much all music. My last hobby would have to be photography. I have a nice DSLR camera that I have a few different lenses to take either beautiful close pictures, sweet action shots, or nice night shots.

Here lately;
1. Studying
2. Xbox
3. Beer.
4. Random drives through the countryside
5. Photography
Probably about it, I keep saying I'm getting back in the gym but I'm not allowed in the cpa since I cussed out a (read) really bad ref at a flag football game and I don't have money for a membership elsewhere .

This replaced my Miata, and I am in love with it. Just finished my first season of trackdays, planning on getting my racing license early next year.

1. Used to overclock computers for a while. Held 2 world records actually...
2. Call of Duty 4
3. Used to hack networks as a hobby - now I do it for living.
4. Porn is by far my favorite hobby.

Thought to myself, "hey I know those sites!". Thought about admitting it then remembered I don't care what anyone thinks about what I enjoy. And who doesn't like porn!

1. Fixing car
2. Blowing up car
3. Swearing at car when it blows up

It's a vicious cycle.

Serially though:
1. All things computers. Built all mine, have fun dicking about in programming.
2. Electronics. If money permitted I would love to build a full custom RC car. I seriously have fantasies about this.
3. Electronics again... Old ones. Record players, I have an Apple IIe sitting around.
4. Engines that aren't my Miata... Two strokes, chainsaws, that sort of thing.

Many, many small ones that I do to keep myself distracted.

The car addiction is draining me financially. Can't afford to pursue other hobbies like electronics, computers, photography, motorcycles.

Almost two years later and nothing has changed, lol. I had bad-ass North Indian Halal scariness last night.

Went for a 10 mile run at 5:30 am this morning.
