They are open until 10 on Monday, but it's $24 for 8 minutes of driving, and they have this disclamer:
"Adrenaline is the Only Buzz You Need: Anyone suspected of consuming drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to race. You may be asked to take a breathalyzer test."

I'm too poor for that right now. I'm in the middle of discovering that there's really no cheap way to build a reliable Miata, even if it isn't turbo.

That doesn't interest me as much because it is expensive and, frankly, I've been having some issues with vertigo for a few and it's taking the fun out of changing directions quickly. I thought it was allergies effecting my inner ear but IDK.

There was a guy that got killed there about two years ago, the karts are fast enough to get you in trouble if you dont exercise some common sence.
I am open for whatever you guys feel like doing

Sell me your hardtop then. I can fund your build with all of your old **** that I'm buying.

The dollar to fun ratio is a little too high for me. Beer and wings sounds perfect though. I can also play taxi.
Have we settled on a time yet?

How far is the airport from where I am staying? My flight arrives at 2 something local time and I will need to check in. After that, maybe a few minutes work on the laptop and I'm good.

20-30 minutes. Airport is far-ish west side, and you're staying right downtown.

It's about a 15 minute drive, up 70.

Edit: Ben's estimate is probably closer. Is 69 still FUBAR?

It's not bad going souf. They're mostly done with all the construction, so it's just normal traffic things.

What the hell are you guys doing up there? It says it is -6*F at 8am this morning!
Do Miatas even work at -6*F? I have no experience with that.

There is no hotel shuttle from the airport so I have to take a municipal thing called "Go Green" or get a cab. I'm told the Go Green is OK, but that was from a desk worker at the hotel.

I'll be arriving at the airport by 1:30 and be at the hotel there around 2:30pm on Monday.

Yeah, it blows. I had to hitch the huskies to the miata this morning to make it to work.
I have no idea what the "Go Green" thing is. Maybe a bus?
I'll be up there around 5.

Yes this weather is garbage. Been a weird winter, haven't see cold like this since i moved here. Miatas work in this weather, though i'll probably just be driving the Cherokee.

Alright so what's the concrete plan here? Do we all just want to meet at the Ale Emporium, trickle in whenever?
